College Accommodation

Cornerstone College provides accommodation (residential facilities) of the highest quality and standard befitting of a unique international college located in Cambridge.

The college's accommodation is located in a rented college hostel in Central Cambridge and a bus stop away from the city centre. This makes it a perfect choice for parents and sponsors; knowing that learning and residential facilities are conveniently situated in the same location-Cherry Hinton Road Cambridge.

Students are accommodated in self-contained single rooms or in shared double rooms with no more than two students. Each of the rooms has en-suite bathrooms and toilets. At the moment Cornerstone College is able to take up to 30 young learners in its students accommodation.

Male and female students are housed separately in different dedicated sections of the same residential building. Students are supervised and assisted by a college warden. Senior college staff are at hand and play a key pastoral and welfare role in the lives of the students. The support team are available and within reach to ably deal with student issues at any time. All staff are vetted through the Vetting and Debarring System.

Meals provided include breakfast and dinner. Arrangement can be made for students to be supplied with packed lunch. There are facilities to cater for those that require special dietary arrangement.

The college students accommodation gives parents the peace of mind and re-assurance that their children are being well looked after and catered for.

Cornerstone College students welfare staff makes regular visits to all host families to ensure that the accommodation provided for students meets the college’s high standards of hygiene and that meals offered are of the highest quality and that Cornerstone College students are being well cared for. All host family accommodation is in single rooms with appropriate study facilities . personal laundry, change of bedding and room cleaning are done weekly with bed linen and towels being supplied by the host family.
